When you use the 'NEW TOPIC' button at the top of the main page, make sure you select the correct category where your post should go from the Drop Down Menu. Otherwise ALL New Topics end up in the TAXONOMY Section.

Assorted Insects from Bendigo Trip (Kangaroo Flat)
Spotted a silhouette on a gum leaf and found this unusual Spider , it's web was pretty much just strung across the leaf it was on - photos 1 & 2 .
I picked this guy up while net sweeping small plants at ground level - photos 3 - 9 .
A nice Cryptocheilus tricolor i got while it was hunting on the ground near a creek - photos 10 - 12 .
Found quite a number of different Leafhoppers , all but one i hadn't seen before - photos 13 - 18 .
Photo 19 is a juvenile of photos 20 - 23 , these particular Leafhoppers were only found on pale leaves like in the two photos , all the other species were either on green leaves or in brush at ground level .
This Soldier Fly was caught while sweeping brush at ground level - photos 24 - 26 .
Three small Beetles/ Weevils found on a gum tree sapling - photos 27 - 30.
This Beetle was found on some flowers - photos 31 - 33 .
A small Fly caught while sweeping ground level brush - photos 34 - 37 .
A member of the Belidae sp. and a juvenile Stink Bug - photos 38 - 40 .
