I stumble across Caterpillars quite often in my travels and have taken a few pics along the way .

The first two are from the Wombat State Forest and the third is from Emu Bottom , Sunbury .

No's 4 - 7  - These are from the Heathcote-Graytown National Park , I have never seen caterpillars moving in a line like this before in real life , I have only seen pictures , all the others I found that day we're huddled together because it was quite cold .

No 8 - This one was on a tree in the Heathcote/Graytown National Park as well .

No 9 - This next one was on a tree in the Ballarat/Creswick Regional Park , the local Ants on the tree were giving it a hard time but didn't seem like they wanted to kill , more like just chase it off .

No 10 - This one was seen in the Wombat State Forest (16/4/22) .

No 11 - Another one in the Wombat State Forest (30/7/22)

No 12 , First Furry Caterpillar of the summer , Wombat State Forest (18/12/22) .

No 13 & 14 - Found this in the Wombat (29/2/23)

No 15 & 16 - The Wombat again (29/2/23)

No 17 - The Wombat (12/2/23)

No's 18 - 21  - A nice looking Caterpillar , also from the Wombat (12/2/23)

No's 22 - 25  - Gum Emperor Moth Caterpillar  (12/2/23) Opodiphthera helena .

No26 & 27 - Gum Emperor Moth Caterpillar (14/2/23) Opodiphthera eucalpti .
