USING THE NEW TOPIC BUTTON (Yesterday)

When you use the 'NEW TOPIC' button at the top of the main page, make sure you select the correct category where your post should go from the Drop Down Menu. Otherwise ALL New Topics end up in the TAXONOMY Section.

Question Juvenile /Adult Katydids

I was in the Wombat State Forest today (26/3/22) and i spotted this Katydid on a young gum tree.I took a few photos and left it in peace . (6 photos)

Photo 7 - I stumbled across another juvenile Katydid in the Wombat State Forest (15/4/22)

Photos 8 & 9 - I found this juvenile Katydid on the Hazelnut Bush in the backyard. 

Photo 10 - I went down to Emu Bottom to look for Emperor Gum Moth Caterpillars and found this instead  (15/2/23)

I went to the Kimbolton State Forest yesterday (4/3/23) and found a number of Katydids on small bushes right on the side of the track  , i never had to set foot into the Forest to find all these .

Note :  As you can see by photos 24 - 26 , none of the bushes were over 1.5m high , they also seem to prefer the young juicy shoots near the top of the bush .

Photo 27 - ( 22/11/23 ) :- I spotted this Juvenile Katydid on a Gum Sapling at home in Diggers Rest .
