Question Carpet Beetle (the scourge of entomologists)

I was adding some Coleoptera to my collection today and to my horror discovered a Carpet Beetle larvae latched onto a Beetle , i was stunned considering i have close to 50 camphor balls in the drawer . It goes to show you have to do periodic checks and not let your guard down .

I was making a coffee before and noticed this on my kichen window sill , goes to show they are everywhere and not to let your guard down (19/11/22)
