The Spiders of Francis Track , One Eye State Forest .

While driving the Francis Track i saw literally hundreds of Orb Weavers . I've posted a few of the better shots .
I also came across 3 bushes with Nursery Web Spider webs on them , they were empty but still an awesome sight . Nursery Web Spiders are of the family Pisauridae and resemble Wolf Spiders but they have a few differences , the main one being the eyes . (7 photos)

On a trip to North Central NSW about 5 years ago between Goolgowi and Hillston i drove through about 15 kms of Nursery Web Spider webs , they covered every tree both sides of the road as far back as i could see , it was truly awesome to witness , i wish i had taken a photo .

Just a few more pics i took in the Wombat State Forest on the 23/2/22.

Spotted this Jumping Spider in the Heathcote/Graytown National Park yesterday (9/4/22) and managed to get it to stand still (sort off) long enough to get a couple of rough shots . It knew i was up to something and it wasn't happy about it at all .
