While searching for Peripatus with Bert a couple of weeks ago we found an Anthelid Moth Caterpillar . I put it in a container with an egg carton and within a few days it spun a cocoon . I will post a pic when it hatches .
I found this Anthelid Moth in the Wombat State Forest on the 16/2/22 , i believe it is Anthelia varia (Male) . My other one hasn't hatched yet but i have found a couple of other Cocoons so stay tuned for more pics down the track .
The two Cocoons i found have hatched , 1 x male , 1x female , the female is 90mm across , the male is 65mm .
