I caught these two down the backyard on the same bush as the Signal Flies and others (4/12/22) photos 1&2 .

Spotted this on the Hazelnut Bush and thought it was a bit different but didn't see the eyes as it is very small , was I pleasantly surprised when I got it on the microscope (7/12/22) photos 3&4 .

Just a common old Green Bottle Fly but terrific colors all the same (7/12/22) photos 5,6&7 .

Another Brown Bottle Blowfly , similar to the one in Diptera 6 but this one was quite a bit smaller ( maybe 2/3 the size) and a fair bit different in the colors (7/12/22) photos 8-12 .

Caught these two on the Hazelnut Bush as well (7/12/22) photo 13 .

Sorry the photos aren't the clearest , this is a very small Fly off the Hazelnut Bush and i had difficulty focusing (8/12/22) photos 14&15 .

Another 4 small Flies compliments of the Hazelnut Bush (8/12/22) photos 16-20

Two more extremely small Flies (4mm) from the backyard (10/12/22) 4 photos + 2 photos
Photos 21-26 .

A "not so blue" Blue Bottle (11/12/22) photos 27&28 .

These next two Flies are very similar (maybe male and female) at first glance but the outstanding difference is the head shape front on . At first look i thought they were Fungas Flies but when i put them under the microscope i realized they weren't (12/12/22) photos 29 - 33 .

Just when i think i can't find anything new on the Hazelnut Bush , another one pops up (16/12/22) photos 34 - 37 .

Finally got back out into the Wombat State Forest after the wet start to Spring and Summer and was immediately rewarded with this awesome March Fly (18/12/22) photos 38 - 45 .

A small Long Legged Green Fly from the Wombat State Forest (18/12/22) photos 46 & 47 .

Another cool looking Fly compliments of the Wombat State Forest from the weekend (18/12/22) photos 48 & 49 .

A nice little Fungas Fly with cool colored legs .... you guessed it , the Wombat .....again (18/12/22) photo 50 .
