I caught this Fly at Emu Bottom (30/3/22) 4 photos

I found this very small fly dead on the outdoor coffee table at home yesterday (6/4/22) , I believe it is of the Bristle Fly Family . (3 photos)

These next 8 photos are of two similar flies from the Wombat State Forest , i caught some on and some near these mushrooms , i don't know if they feed off them or were just sunning themselves ...... mystery solved .... they are Fungas Flies , Tapeigaster annulipes . See Fungas Flies for further photos , i have caught a few of these now and they all look a bit different from each other.

Caught this very small Fly hanging around in my Mealworm container today (22/4/22) . It would be lucky to be 3mm head to tail . (2 photos)

Just another very small fly caught in the Wombat State Forest (16/4/22) 1 photo

Very similar to the previous fly but it has darker lines on it's abdomen and different coloured eyes . Wombat State Forest(16/4/22) 1 photo.
