I caught this near a water point in the Wombat State Forest when i was catching aquatic insects on the 16/2/22 . As a kid i only ever saw these near water so hence they were referred to as Water Spiders . They are a member of the Tetragnathidae family and have oversized jaws and pedipalps . I've taken a few shots , sorry they're a bit blurry but the jaws etc are very long and hard to get all in focus at once .
