Question Steel Blue Ladybird (NZ) Orcus chalybeus

Pic 1 - This is an Australian species introduced into NZ , not commonly found , i only ever saw 3 or 4 , the orange with black spots being the most prolific. This one was found near Rotorua (Central North Island) in 1979 on the same trip as the Black Weevil , Zelapterus terricola .

Pic 2 - Just over here in NZ and have stumbled across another one of these at my mates place in the Wairarapa which is at the southern end of the North Island (7/10/22)
