The Field Museum is searching for a Collections Technician - Insects to join our team!See the listing at  www.fieldmuseum.org/careers for more information and the application form The Collections Technician will photograph and/or scan labels and slide-mounted specimens and transcribe locality, collector, and habitat fields from label data. They will also photograph select pinned specimens. The Collections Technician will oversee students, interns, and volunteers in digitization activities, assure quality control and productivity, track progress, and perform georeferencing and nomenclatural updates.This is a term position and will last from 35 to 55 weeks, depending on the number of hours worked per week. Full-time (35 hours/week) is preferred, but part-time is negotiable. Applications should be submitted by July 14, 2023.
